The terms and conditions governing your use of the Billerang platform.
August 2026
By accessing or using the Billerang platform and related services ("Services") provided by SHARETEAL ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Services.
Billerang is an enterprise-grade billing and revenue management platform that provides subscription management, usage-based rating, invoicing, payment orchestration, and related monetization services. The specific features and service levels available to you depend on your subscription plan as described in your order form or service agreement.
You must provide accurate and complete registration information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe have been compromised. Each user account is for a single individual and may not be shared.
Fees for the Services are set forth in your order form or subscription agreement. All fees are quoted in euros unless otherwise specified. Invoices are due within thirty (30) days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may incur interest at the rate of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is less. We reserve the right to suspend Services for accounts with overdue payments exceeding sixty (60) days.
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Services ("Customer Data"). We process Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Services as described in our Data Processing Agreement. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect Customer Data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
The Billerang platform backend is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License version 3 (AGPL v3). This means you have the right to access, modify, and distribute the backend source code under the terms of AGPL v3. Enterprise extensions, proprietary integrations, and certain premium features are licensed separately under commercial terms described in your subscription agreement. The Billerang name, logos, and branding are trademarks of SHARETEAL and may not be used without written permission. You retain all intellectual property rights in your Customer Data.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SHARETEAL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amounts paid by you to us during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or gross negligence.
Either party may terminate these Terms with thirty (30) days written notice. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees when due, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases. You may request export of your Customer Data within thirty (30) days of termination, after which we may delete it in accordance with our data retention policies. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, intellectual property, and limitation of liability) will survive.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property rights.
